About Forest Africa
Why This Business?
Zambia needs to add value to its natural resources! Until recently, our retail ecosystem has been packed with products made from farmed fruits only and most of them imported. We saw a clear opportunity for introduction of products made from indigenous wild fruits which are natural, organic and nutritious. Our aim is to promote value addition to these wild fruits thereby creating employment and an alternative source of income for rural communities who are primary collectors of the wild fruits which ultimately is an entry point for Sustainable Forest Management. We intend to bring back memories in most Zambians who last ate these favorite fruits during their younger days in ready-to -drink products.
